In January of 2004, Pinnacle Optical acquired the assets of NAVA Labs in Birmingham, Alabama, and became the exclusive laboratory for the VisionChoice^® vision care plan.

VisionChoice^® was developed in 1996 to offer an alternative to employer vision care plans and to allow private practitioners to participate in a suite of products that have
been refined over the years to better serve providers, employers, associations and members. There are no claim forms to fill out, no pre-authorizations necessary; all the member needs to present is his identification card as a member of his or her organization that provides the plan.

This means practices are seeing more patients and more patients are referring VisionChoice^® Advantage providers for private pay exam and Rx work. Pinnacle Optical and its VisionChoice^® providers have certainly seen an increase in business as a result VisionChoice^®. The plan is available to groups of any size located throughout the state of Alabama.

The VisionChoice^® Alliance is comprised of a statewide network of eyecare professionals, so access is easy. All VisionChoice^® Alliance member providers like your office are carefully selected and credentialed and are all top in their field of expertise.
